I always like a lot the pictures i take at the Mitsuwa Bon Odori and this year was not an exception. I used mainly the lens 135 and I’m so happy how many of them came out… This day I also tested a few shots with the 30mm lens I recently had bought which I became so addicted to ot after that that I even took most of the pictures in Japan with this lens… but now I think I did a great mistake and I should have used more my 135 and 85 telephoto lenses… coz even though I took a hell lot of pictures in Japan, many of them are just crap because it is so hard for me to take candid pictures with a 30mm, so i did a lot of hip shoots and got a lots of blurry pictures. I realize late that shooting hip shots at 1.4 with a manual focusing is not an easy thing… 🙂 Now I felt like I shouldn’t had bought this lens just days before the trip… or I should had kept my old camera and used this lens for the wider shots as it is very annoying to change lenses constantly with just one body…
The photos turned out lovely! I know what you mean, I hate changing lens as well, it gets so annoying because sometimes you want to change it back and forth…wished they invented a miracle lens that does everything 🙂 I would like a miracle zoom lens with f1.8 or f1.4, but that would be impossible 🙂
