I have been busy lately with school and work as I’m in finals and this time is usually when I have a lot of orders of shirts to paint… I was lucky that last weekend was thanksgiving break so I spent it mostly working and doing homework.  Otherwise, I would be so overloaded right now as I always take my time when doing customers orders and I usually let them pile up with some taking me more than a week to ship ( the good thing is that people never complain about that after they get the shirt, ).  I have this bad habit  of doing things at the last minute and even if I have free time, I would always do other unimportant stuff instead… Now for example, I still have lots of orders to make and even homework but I’m here wasting my time making this silly post…

So here are some photos of shirts that I did for other people in the last few days.  it’s the first time that I have made those or some I rarely do… so I felt like taking some pics of them. Most of the shirts I do are the ones that I do over and over and over again that I think I’m getting weary of that, but I’m too lazy to make some new stuff…  in fact, I have more than 5 months without creating new designs… I need to invest more time on this stuff,  if I want to see my business grow.

Oh, well, I just hope that orders keep me busy the next few weeks coz I’m kinda thinking to take a winter vacation at the end of the month.  going on  a road trip to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and SF sound totally awesome, but I also want to be in NYC (brrr!) for new year’s day  or my cheaper and longer staying option of going to Mexico for a few weeks…  mmm or maybe I should hibernate on my winter break and  save the money to secure or stay  in South Korea for more than a month on this summer that is just getting near… sound like it’ll be hard hard to decide…

Snoop Dogg

I’m getting a break from photography or at least from sorting out and processing pictures  coz I’m still using my camera but less frequently. I had more than 30,000 pictures to go through,  so I don’t even know where to start.  lol. so lately, since the past few weeks I have been doing some t-shirts for me,  even when I have tons of them that I don’t even wear. I have many pics  that I would like to airbrush on t-shirts, so i think i need to make some time for that…

I’m starting to use more layers on my stencils shirts and I totally love how they look  than just one stencil layer…

As always I just can’t stop making shirts of Asian women.  I think I should start my own clothing line inspired by asian women.  Haha…

Zhang Ziyi

Zhang Ziyi ( a Chinese actress ) i think the mandala looks great here… somehow very simple but still i like it.  i use a program called Mandala Painter witch it is awesome to create that stuff but i just need to work more on it as it look so simple…  as usual i create all the design on the computer first and cut the stencil with a vinyl cutter… so here are some pics i took in the process… it is very easy but a bit of time consuming….

some of the pics look awful as the lighting was very bad and some i took them with the phone…

i really liked how it turned out it and looks better in person… but it is not as great as my fav shirt of her I did about 3 years ago…

I have gotten a lot compliments wearing that one and it always makes turn heads… just like this funny picture of me from last year in japan…

Lee Young Ae

I did this one from the poster of a Korean movie I saw long ago “Sympathy for Lady Vengeance”,  which it is a great movie as well as Old Boy from the same director. I just need to watch  Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance to finish The Vengeance Trilogy!.

I have been watching the K-drama Dae Jang Geum with the same actress  Lee Young Ae.  so that’s why i felt like making a shirt of her… The drama is very addictive,  I can’t believe I have just 8 episodes left from the total 54….

This is one is just from another picture that I just took over the internet “without permission”. so just trying to do something  Mexican!!

Baek Ji Young

Baek Ji-Young, ( a korean singer ) according to my last.fm profile I have more than 1,100  plays of her just second from Zard with 2,400 plays. I can’t scrobble from my mp3 players so that number of plays should be a lot higher… so yeah, I can’t believe it took me too long to make a shirt of her even when a have a few of Zard and other artists that I rarely listen.

Jun Ji-hyun

Jun Ji-hyun: I think the first Korean movie I saw long time ago was one of her’s “My Sassy Girl” it was so funny and touching that it really made me cry laughing. Then, I got totally hooked on Korean movies. so far I have liked all the movies I have watched of her like Il Mare,  Windstruck and Daisy they are all great! i haven’t seen her last one that came out last year (Blood: The Last Vampire ) i don’t like that vampire stuff but I may see it one of those days as Koyuki another great Japanese actress is in it. and she is on my shirt list… : )
